Landscapes

I have been so privileged to grow up in California, on occupied Muwekma Ohlone land throughout the Bay Area, and to visit many other amazing places throughout the state, country, and world. Hiking in the forests of Quicksilver and Pogonip, pulling over on the highway to take in the majesty of the eastern Sierras, smelling the sulfur pools in Lassen and Mono Lake, cruising the network of rivers in the Amazon in Cuyabeno, Ecuador - to name just a few, these have been some of the best moments of my life. Painting these landscapes are really paintings of memories.
